The Fayetteville Fire Department, in partnership with Fayetteville-based The Eden Project and Fayetteville Ford, is proud to host its second annual raffle of a brand-new 2024 Ford F-150 pickup truck.

This exciting raffle will be featured at two major community events: the Fall Festival Open House on Saturday, October 26, and the Tailgate with a Firefighter event on Saturday, November 2.

Proceeds from the raffle support the Fayetteville Fire Department’s fire safety education programs and The Eden Project’s mission to assist veterans transitioning to civilian life.

Raffle tickets are priced at $50 each, with discounts available for purchases of three or more. Tickets can be purchased online at www.eden-project.com/shop.

Fall Festival Open House – October 26

The Fall Festival Open House will be held at Fayetteville Fire Station 91, located at the corner of South Glynn Street (Highway 85) and Johnson Avenue.

The event will run from 4 to 8 p.m. and will include free food, fire truck tours, the Phoenix fire safety bus, Sparky the Dog, inflatable axe throwing, trick-or-treating, and other fun activities.

Attendees can also purchase limited-edition Fayetteville Fire Department breast cancer awareness t-shirts. For more event details, visit www.fayetteville-ga.gov/events.

This event coincides with Main Street Fayetteville’s Great Pumpkin Festival, located just two blocks away at the Historic Fayette County Courthouse Lawn. A free hayride will shuttle visitors between the two events. More information about the Great Pumpkin Festival can be found at www.DowntownFayetteville.org.

Tailgate with a Firefighter – November 2

The Tailgate with a Firefighter event returns to City Center Park, located behind Fayetteville City Hall at 210 Stonewall Avenue West.

Running from noon to 6 p.m., this event will feature a live broadcast of the annual Georgia vs. Florida college football game.

Admission is free and proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit both fire safety education and The Eden Project. The highly anticipated 2024 Ford F-150 raffle drawing will take place during halftime.

Also returning this year is the Fayetteville Fire Department Cornhole Tournament, starting at 1 p.m. Team check-in is at 12:30 p.m., with a $60 entry fee for each two-person team. For more information and to register, visit www.fayetteville-ga.gov/tailgate.
