Larry Huggins of Fayetteville, Ga., passed Monday, April 22, 2024. He was 78 years old.
A 22-year employee of Clayton Appliance, owned by his cousin Jerry Flury, Larry also owned Ga. Service Co. in Marietta for many years. Larry was considered by many in the business as the best major appliance technician in the business. He was loved by his fellow co-workers and his customers.
As Larry’s health declined, he asked to go home for his last days; he was surrounded for 2 weeks by friends, co-workers, relatives, his wife, daughter, his dogs & step dogs, enjoying every minute. All who knew Larry should know he passed peacefully and at peace with his maker listening to “Amazing Grace,” his favorite gospel song.
Larry is survived by his wife of 43 years. Patti Parris Huggins, daughter, Casandra Erdelyi (Aaron) of Kennesaw, daughter Susie Sharpe (Leslie) of Australia, granddaughters Haley and Morgan of Kennesaw, sister Carol Rogers (Wayne) of Acworth. He was predeceased by his parents and most recently his sister Marie Samuel.
Donations in Larry’s honor can be made to Brightmoor Hospice, Griffin, The American Lung Assoc., or any animal rescue organization, as he will be welcomed at the Rainbow Bridge by an abundance of pets who loved him thru the years.
