On Saturday, April 6th, the newly revised Hops & Props Beer Fest was held in a hanger at Airbase Georgia, at Falcon Field. Over 300 people were in attendance, making this event a resounding success.
I spoke with dozens of people who had attended this event before it was put on hold due to COVID, and they couldn’t be happier it returned, marveling at how well it was put together.
Several others I interacted with (first timers), were having a blast and excited about coming back next year.
The Curious Pig and Christo’s Pizza had food trucks on hand for those needing a bite to go with their beer. While milling about, people were encouraged to join in on some cornhole, and they even had a rain gutter regatta set up and people racing for prizes.
All in all, a truly amazing community event that brought a lot of happy people together.
Kudos big time to Missy Roberts and Sarah Tarnowski of the PTC Convention and Visitors Bureau for planning and executing such an amazing event. Months in the making, they and their team delivered an experience to remember.
Next up: PTCEATS Culinary tour(s) in April, June, July, August and beyond.

I’ll add The Duncan Brothers, and Aaron Watkins and the Georgia Dirt Band, were on hand for a couple stellar performances.
