Business leader, successful banker and community advocate, Vic Painter announced his candidacy and filed the official paperwork to run for Peachtree City Council — Post 2.
“I didn’t come to the decision to run for Peachtree City Council lightly, and I’m not running for a career in politics. I am running because this community has meant so much to me and my family,” said Painter.
“I know that we can work together to solve problems like out-of-control traffic, and keeping our community safe. With my background in finance, I know how we can spend wisely to invest in city services that are important to us. From our parks and recreation services that encompass youth programs and the Gathering Place to the professionals that keep us safe in the Peachtree City Police and Fire Departments, we need to make sure our priorities are properly funded with a long-term plan in place to do so. My family has found the American Dream in Peachtree City. It’s an amazing community with amazing people and I look forward to serving by listening to our citizens and working hard to achieve our goals.”
