The September–October featured exhibit for the Peachtree City Library Art Initiative welcomes the Peachtree City Photography Club with “A Walk on the Wild Side.” The exhibit opens September 1 and continues through October 27, 2023.
The Peachtree City Photography Club was formed in March 2015 by Reggie Root. The club was formed to bring together people from the local area who have a common interest in photography. It offers meetings, presentations, print and internet contests, and shooting opportunities. For more information, check out the group at www.meetup.com/peachtree-city-
The exhibit will feature the original wildlife photography of eight members: Sherry Burtz, James (Jim) Cole, Nicole Coleman, Neal McEwen, Seth Schwartz, Sharyon Schwartz, and Sally Simon. Nicole Coleman is coordinating the exhibit.
The reception is scheduled for Saturday, September 16 from 3 to 4:30 pm at the Peachtree City Library. The reception is open to the public.
The Peachtree City Library Art Initiative was founded seven years ago by Rebecca Watts and Honey Corbin to provide exhibit space for local art associations along with a featured, by-invitation, curated exhibit that changes every two months.
Member associations are Fayette Society of Fine Art (FSOFA), Newnan-Coweta Art Association (NCAA), and the Peachtree City Photography Club.
