Stop swimming in Lake Peachtree, the city warned Aug. 2.
In an email blast, the city said, “Potentially harmful algae blooms were recently detected in Lake Peachtree.
“When temperatures are warm and rainfall is low, these types of algae blooms become more likely. The public should avoid swimming in Lake Peachtree until further notice. People and pets should avoid all contact with the water.”
