Inman hosting chess tourney March 17

Put your thinking caps on and join the Eagles for a bit of fun competition at the Inman Community Chess Tournament on Friday, March 17.

The tournament is open to any age and skill level from anywhere. Competition will be divided into novice, intermediate, and advanced. All players will participate in four rounds, regardless of performance.

The fun begins at 5 p.m. at Inman Elementary at 677 Inman Road in Fayetteville. Advance online registration is $20, with registration $25 on-site at the event.

Registration includes 2 slices of pizza and a drink for each player. There will also be a a concession stand with extra pizza, drinks, popcorn, candy, and other snacks for sale.
