Starr’s Mill Thespians nominated for Shuler Awards

For their incredible performance of their recent musical Pippin, Starr’s Mill Thespians were recently nominated for three Shuler Awards. Fashioned after Broadway’s Tony Awards, the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards – Shuler Hensley Awards® program celebrates excellence in high school musical theatre. The program embodies a spirit of camaraderie and celebration for the arts in high schools across Georgia.

Starr’s Mill’s nominations were:

-Best Supporting Performer: Olivia Price, for her role as Fastrada

-Best Ensemble

-Best Lighting Design: Emily Hausman

Additionally, the cast/crew received Honorable Mentions for the following categories:

Scenic Design and Technical Execution

The Shuler Awards will be at 8 pm on April 21, 2022, at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta.  They will be televised on Georgia Public Broadcasting.
