A south Fayette County man has been arrested on charges of sexual exploitation of children after investigators found photos of underage female children on an electronic device.
Hardy R. Ogletree, 70, was charged with sexual exploitation of children, according to Fayette County Jail records.
Sheriff Barry Babb said an investigation by the Marietta Police Department working on an issue pertaining to Ogletree led to their detectives contacting the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Fayette detectives followed up and checked Ogletree’s electronic device, and found the images, Babb said, adding that Ogletree was subsequently taken into custody.
