The annual Inman Farm Heritage Days held Sept. 20-22 brought out the usual large crowds to get a first-hand look at the variety of farm equipment at one of Fayette County’s premier yearly events.
With all the tractors and farm equipment on display, a walk through the pasture was a literal walk back in time that provided an up-close look at the history of farming. The event also came with the opportunity to reach out and touch a classic car.
And, as usual, a glance back into history was not the only thing available to the thousands who made the trek to Minter’s Farm off Ga. Highway 92 South.
There were endless exhibits of tractors, trucks, cars and engines, along with plenty of goodies and meals to enjoy at the farm or to take home.
It is noteworthy that it was the help of hundreds of people who made this true community event possible.
