Terry Garlock’s romp through the last three millennia provided a reasonable review of high school history of western civilization and civics classes, so I kept reading to see what he was up to.
He suddenly began castigating young Americans for being self-indulgent, indolent, entitled, self-absorbed, glued to their electronics, incapable of self-restraint, one-dimensional thinkers, and unwilling to read broadly or accept any suggestions from knowledgeable sources.
I would guess that any young person reading this description might think: if I just add multiple bankruptcies, hypersensitivity to criticism, and toxic tweeting ability, I would have the perfect resumé to be Terry’s President.
