The McIntosh High School competitive cheerleading squad participated in its first competition of the season Sept. 22 at Whitewater High School.
The varsity co-ed finished in first place and the JV took home second place.
October competitions are scheduled at John’s Creek, Peachtree Ridge, South Forsyth and Northgate.
The state sectionals are Nov. 3 at Peachtree Ridge.
