The kids and youth at Fayette Presbyterian Church on Forrest Avenue in Fayetteville held a “Packing Party” as an outreach project. After weeks of gathering school supplies, they packed a big load of tote bags full to send to the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. These kits are kept on hand and given to school-aged children after disasters, such as the recent hurricanes that affected so many families. The kids involved learned about how children their own age can be impacted by floods and storms and volunteering and donating needed items can make a real difference.
