At right, the familiar chimes will soon ring again through Senoia’s historic downtown. A grassroots effort to repair the clock started with a Go Fund me account that has received more than $5,000 in donations. Businessman Jim Preece researched the history of the clock, and learned it was a Hurricane Katrina survivor.
