Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will celebrate God and Country weekend Saturday and Sunday, July 1-2.
Appropriate music and readings from the nation’s heritage will be included, along with meaningful scripture.
Christ Our Shepherd’s founding pastor, John Weber, now retired, will return to conduct the services and preach. Weber led the church from its beginning in the early 1970s when the congregation met in a warehouse on Dividend Drive.
All are invited. The services are Saturday at 6 p.m., and Sunday at 8:30, 9:45, and 11 a.m.
The present church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.
