A Senoia woman died April 23 after her vehicle was involved in a head-on collision on Ga. Highway 85 South.
Sheriff Barry Babb said 45-year-old Catherine Siegel died at the scene of the accident on Hwy. 85 South and Royal Ridge Way. The accident occurred at approximately 8:37 p.m.
Babb said Siegel’s Lincoln Navigator was traveling northbound when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a Chevrolet Silverado head-on.
The Silverado was driven by a 31-year-old-man from Fayetteville who was transported to Grady Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Babb said drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the accident.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing, Babb said.
