William Ashley and Tanya Arrington of Fayetteville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Megan Anderson, to 2nd. Lt. Stephen Edwards Arnold, son of R. Lee and Rebekah R. Arnold of Vidalia.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Bobbi Evers of Fayetteville, William David Arrington and the late Derenda Bailey Arrington of Fayetteville. She is also the grandniece of Jimmy and Jean White of Fayetteville.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Linda E. Arnold of Statesboro, the late Rev. John C. “Jack” Arnold, and the late Calvin and Doris Robbins of Dalton.
Megan is a 2010 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2016 graduate of Georgia Southern University where she graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s in psychology and master’s in education. She is currently employed as a school counselor at Indian Creek Middle School.
Stephen is a 2010 graduate of Vidalia Comprehensive High School and a 2016 graduate of Georgia Southern University where he earned a bachelor’s in general studies. He is currently a Marine Corps officer at The Basic School in Quantico, Va.
A November wedding is planned.
