MOBA Soccer Academy recently announced its plan to start girls’ and boys’ youth teams for the U16, U17, and U18/19 age groups.

“We are very excited about the addition of our own youth teams at the MOBA Soccer Academy,” said owner Volker Harms. “We will create new teams to compete in the state league and help open up career paths for our youth soccer players. Our focus will be on getting players equipped for college soccer and possibly a professional soccer career. These players will also provide us with a homegrown player pool feeding into our current adult teams, including the men’s PDL team Peachtree City MOBA. We are planning to train these young men and women in a world-class environment where they can develop to their maximum potential, and at the same time create a real club atmosphere, where soccer is a way of life.”

MOBA Soccer Academy Youth Program will have tryouts for all six teams (three female and three male), ages 16-19, in early June. The teams will then be formed for the fall season. Team placement in the state league divisions will be based on the playing history of those players who sign to the teams, with the goal being to reach the top levels as quickly as possible.

The names of the coaches leading the new MOBA Soccer Academy Youth Program and tryout dates and times will be announced soon.

Founded in 2016, MOBA Soccer Academy is a privately owned soccer complex and newly established pre-professional soccer club. It is currently home to its Premier Development League (PDL) team Peachtree City MOBA and the Atlanta District Amateur Soccer League (ADASL) team MOBA Upper 90.
