The period of Feb. 14-20 came with three Fayette County entering auto incidents, two in unincorporated Fayette County and one in Fayetteville.
Sheriff Barry Babb said one of the incidents was reported at a residence on Troon Drive off Redwine Road on Feb. 18. A laptop in a backpack was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
A second entering auto, also on Troon Drive, was reported on Feb. 19. There were two unlocked vehicles entered and a computer, purse and wallet stolen, Babb said.
An entering auto incident occurred in Fayetteville on Feb. 18. Reported by the homeowner on Keaton Drive off Ga. Highway 92 South, police department spokesman Mike Whitlow said a purse and wallet were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Law enforcement officials always remind drivers to lock their vehicles, whether at home or in the community.
