The burglary was reported at approximately 9 a.m. on Jan. 30 and occurred on Halcyon Court in northeast Fayette, said Sheriff Barry Babb.

Babb said the homeowner entered the garage and found her vehicle ransacked. The homeowner said she was not sure if she locked the vehicle on the previous night.

Two other vehicles belonging to the homeowner were in the driveway and were entered, Babb said, adding that some of the items taken were found along the roadway.

Babb said three of the four radio-controlled airplanes taken from the vehicles were recovered.
An entering auto incident was reported on Jan. 28 on Forrest Lake Court off Ga. Highway 92 South.

Babb said a backpack containing a wallet and identification were stolen from the unlocked vehicle.

Another entering auto was reported on Jan. 30 on Shimmering Waters Lane off Helmer Road in north Fayette.

A power inverter was stolen and the contents of the glove box were scattered in the vehicle that the owner said he believed had been locked. Deputies found no forced entry into the vehicle, Babb said.
