Mr. William Eddie Burnette, of Brooks, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Pearl Burnette; son, Karl Burnette and is survived by his wife of 56 years, Hazel Burnette; children, Connie Brown and her husband, Tommy of Newnan, Phillip Burnette and his wife, Mona Lisa of Warner Robins, Susan Musselwhite and her husband, Rod of Hogansville; sister, Barbara Granbois of DeWitt, Mich.; brother, Kenneth Burnette and his wife, Carol of Social Circle; grandchildren, Joshuah and Heather Brown, James and Autumn Burnette, Jessica and Mark Smith, Kimberly Davis, Jennifer and James Crossway, Matthew and Meagan Burnette, Sarah and Joshua Fordham, Tyler and Stephanie Searcy, Brandon and Nicole Searcy, Rebecca Burnette; great grandchildren, Ayla, Madisynn, Summer, Olivia, Michael, Jason, Kyle, Charity, Kayden, Scottie, Noah, Sadie, Ryleigh and Brianna.
A funeral service was held Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Fayette Family Church with Pastor Jerry Young officiating. Interment followed at Brooks City Cemetery.
