On Sunday, Nov. 6, Fayetteville First UMC will celebrate All Saints Day and will welcome the new area bishop, Sue Haupert-Johnson.  All are invited to meet “Bishop Sue” and hear her preach at the 11 a.m. service.

Haupert-Johnson was elected bishop by the 2016 Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference of The United Methodist Church and consecrated July 15, 2016. Her first assignment as bishop is to the North Georgia Episcopal Area of the United Methodist Church and she began service in North Georgia on Sept. 1 of this year.

Haupert-Johnson is in the process of visiting all 12 districts. After preaching at Fayetteville First UMC, she will be at Peachtree City UMC on Monday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. to meet the laity. All are welcome.

FFUMC is at 175 East Lanier Ave., in downtown Fayetteville.
