The Peachtree City Council on Oct. 20 approved changes pertaining to the board of directors of the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The council by unanimous vote agreed to changes which follow state recommendation and industry standards.
As approved, the city will appoint five board members and CVB will appoint two. The two will serve shorter terms and can be selected in conjunction with special projects.
The two board members, if interested, can apply to serve for longer terms.
