Last week’s Fayette on the Page 2016 kickoff party at the library included a community read of “True Grit” by Charles Portis.
Between sets of traditional cowboy tunes, the musicians shared a moment with John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn, from the 1969 movie adaptation of the book.
