“A Matter of Balance” is scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays in October, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Fayette Senior Services’ Peachtree City location (McIntosh Place, 191 McIntosh Trail).
Many older adults experience concerns about falling which can often lead limits in their activities. This award-winning evidence-based program is designed to help individuals manage the fear of falling and increase activity levels. Learn strategies to manage falls, how to set goals for increased activity, ways to reduce fall risks at home, types of exercises to strengthen balance, and more to take control. This is great for anyone concerned about falls, those interested in improving balance, flexibility and strength, or those who have fallen in the past. This 8-session class is presented by Beth Dow of Home Helpers of Georgia and Dianna Anderson of Touching Hearts at Home.
