One hundred and twelve local students participated in the youth volunteer program with the Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary this summer.
The students participating contributed 3,214 hours of service to the hospital, working in many different departments and getting an amazing introduction into the world of healthcare.
Overall, the program has worked with 1,776 local students since its inception and received more than 56,000 hours of service.
