A special POW/MIA recognition ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 16, at 9 a.m. at the City Hall Plaza Veterans’ Memorial in Peachtree City.
More than 80,000 United States military service members, from wars and operations dating back to World War II, remain unaccounted for, according to event organizers.
The public is invited.
