Members of the Piedmont Fayette Hospital staff recently filled 95 boxes for HeroBox, a local non-profit organization that supports deployed, injured, aging and homeless veterans. These boxes, filled with items that can provide a slice of home, are being sent to members of the U.S. armed services on their first or second deployment. In addition to the items in the boxes, the staff also wrote letters of support to the men and women service members. Photo/Submitted.
