Joyce Hannah Smith Arnold, 88, of Peachtree City, passed away on August 27, 2016.

She was a member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church and the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She worked many years as a registered nurse from Wadsworth Veterans Hospital to a school nurse and finally as a surgical nurse in Leavenworth, Kan.

Joyce is survived by husband Norman T. Arnold; children Dr. Paul N Arnold and Dr. Priscilla Arnold, Dr. Kathleen Mahvi, and Sue Ward and Dr. J. Michael Ward; nine grandchildren; six great grand sons; and sisters June Hane and Nancy Hoger.

A memorial service will be held at Arbor Terrace at a later date.
