Fishing rodeo winners announced

The annual Fayette County Youth Fishing Rodeo recently took place at Luther Glass Park. Hosted by Peachtree City Recreation & Special Events, in conjunction with PTC Bass Club and The Southern Conservation Trust, the event had 56 participants ages 4 to 13.

The rodeo’s top winner in the 4 to 6 year old group was Skylar Buswell, who won first place and caught the biggest fish. Carson Hart placed second, followed by Max Clark and Hudson Petras.

Ryan Hart took first place in the 7 to 9 year old group, followed by Tucker Hancock, Riley Adler, and Rowan Frazer.  Adler caught the biggest fish in this group.  

The Biggest Fish prize in the 10 to 13 year old group went to Jacob Gerson who also placed first.  Second place went to Shawn Sower.  Hunter Heinssen and Joey Hawthorne placed third and fourth respectively.
