The Coweta-Fayette Auburn Club recently held its annual Freshmen Send-Off Party for local new students and their families. These students represent the more than 45 from the area who are are now attending Auburn University. The freshmen and their parents enjoyed socializing with each other and with Auburn alumni who are pictured.
The next club event is Monday, Aug. 29, 6-8 p.m. at the Newnan Country Club. This is a free event featuring guest speaker Jason Caldwell, an assistant editor of Inside the Tigers (ITAT) Magazine, host of the ITAT radio program and lead columnist for AUTigers.com.
