New Neighbors League Club, an active force in the community for making connections, announced its annual “Amnesty month” for neighbors who want to join the fun but have lived in the area for more than a year.
To join, residents may come to one of three August events, including a club meeting or one of its coffees:
The monthly meeting – Aug. 4 at 9:30 a.m. at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 101 N. Peachtree Pkwy in Peachtree City.
Fun & Friendship – Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. at Murph’s Bar in Peachtree City.
Fun & Friendship/Coffee – Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. at a member’s home. Call Carol Jensen-Linton at 770-486-9116 for the location.
Membership costs $45 for the first year.
NNLC’s purpose is to bring newcomers to the area together so that they may meet and become friends while adjusting to new surroundings. NNLC is a not-for-profit social organization that has a wide variety of special interest groups.
