The Legend of Prince Lives on July 22 at The Fred

The Purple Xperience, a five-piece Prince tribute band hailing from Minneapolis, has been zig-zagging around the country since February of 2011 bringing the memories of Prince and The Revolution to audiences of all generations.

Led by Matt Fink (aka Doctor Fink), a band member of Prince and The Revolution from 1978-1991, The Purple Xperience leaves no one disappointed.

Keyboardist, record producer and songwriter Doctor Fink won two Grammy Awards in 1985 for the motion picture soundtrack album for “Purple Rain,” in which he appeared. He received another Grammy in 1985 for the album “Parade: Music from the Motion Picture ‘Under the Cherry Moon,’” the eighth studio album by Prince and The Revolution. Matt also has two American Music Awards for “Purple Rain,” which has sold over 25 million copies worldwide since its release.
