We have witnessed corruption and hypocrisy in action in the FBI Director’s decision not to recommend criminal charges against Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information. The current administration is starting to look more and more like a criminal enterprise. Senator Ted Cruz said it best when he referred to it as the “Washington Cartel.”
Many of us who served in the military and in government service know full well that what Hillary Clinton did in having private servers then sending and receiving classified information via these unsecured systems was a blatant violation of federal law.
The penalties for mishandling classified documents are spelled out clearly and apply to any and all violators. Penalties under the law include but are not limited to: administrative reprimands, loss of employment, loss of access to classified information by losing one’s security clearance, demotion, fines and/or imprisonment.
Jane Doe or John Doe would be facing criminal charges if she/he had committed these offenses. But the former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton will not. The question is: why not?
The answer: she’s Hillary Clinton, a heralded member of the political elite. Laws apply to all Americans yet they apparently do not apply to the Clintons.
It stands to reason that a decision not to charge her averted and avoided a domino effect which could of had the possibility of implicating other officials/persons who knowingly or unknowingly used these illegal systems.
In conclusion, FBI Director James Comey’s decision, along with the acceptance of that decision by the U.S. Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, was the height of hypocrisy. It is time for all law-abiding Americans of every political persuasion (democrats, republicans, libertarians and independents) to take a stand against unequal treatment under the law. Justice is supposed to be “blind.” There is supposed to be “liberty and justice for ALL”!
In the case of Hillary Clinton there is a miscarriage of justice. She is clearly not qualified to be the next President of the United States of America.
