Gun control: Start with Secret Service

In a predictable reaction to a tragedy in Orlando, the President last month took the opportunity not to comfort the families of the victims nor to address the issue of hatred against gays and lesbians, but instead to pursue his political agenda against the 2nd Amendment.

Obama noted, “Some seem to think that if there had been more people armed in that nightclub, that somehow it would have been safer.” Did I really hear that? Um … yeah! If just one person had been armed, who was legally carrying a firearm and was trained to use it, the death toll might have been far less.

Using Obama’s argument, I suppose it then makes sense to disarm the Secret Service. Since he does not believe that more guns in the room are safer, the Secret Service should only carry their wits and good intentions.

That way if a gunman entered in the room threatening him or anyone in his entourage, there would only be one gun – a much safer situation according to Obama.
