Christy A. Dunkelberger was appointed as Magistrate Judge, Post 1, June 13 by Christopher C. Edwards, Chief Judge of Fayette County Superior Court.
Shortly after the appointment, Dunkelberger was sworn in and immediately assumed the duties of her new role.

She is thankful to Judge Edwards for her appointment and to the public for their votes and entrusting her with this high honor.
Dunkelberger has been an attorney practicing law for 22 years. She has maintained an office in Fayetteville since 2003.
She and her husband Fred have lived in Peachtree City for 18 years. They have a son and a daughter and two grandchildren.
