Jerry Van Williams, age 60, of Fayetteville

Mr. Jerry Van Williams, age 60, of Fayetteville, Ga. passed away June 13, 2016.

Mr. Williams was a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herchel and Dorothy Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Williams; son, Chris Miller and his wife Anne of Jackson, Ga., and their children Katherine and Joshua; sister, Jean Brown of Cumming, Ga.; brothers, Jim Williams and his wife Peggy of Dalton, Ga., Jon Williams and his wife Sharon of Cumming, Ga.; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Orr officiating.
