Adelaide Knight of Fairburn was given the Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing and Health Professions Outstanding Didactic Program in Dietetics Undergraduate Student Award at Georgia State University.

Kathryn Taylor of Fayetteville received the endowed Kaiser Permanente Scholarship for her interest in pursuing a career as a nurse educator at Georgia State University.

Holly Palmer of Fayetteville, majoring in early childhood preschool, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester at the University of Vermont.

Evie Hahn earned a bachelor’s degree in middle level science/math from Grove City College. She is a graduate of Sandy Creek High School.

Local residents who received degrees at Clemson University this spring include Ciara Elizabeth Wood of Newnan, bachelor’s in early childhood education (cum laude); Thomas E. Trawick of Peachtree City, master’s in city and regional planning; and Chelsea Alexis Green of Riverdale, bachelor’s in psychology.

Matthew Stephen Andriotty of Fayetteville was named to the Dean’s List at the College of William & Mary.

Ashley Nicole Akerson of Fayetteville graduated from Union University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in art and human studies.
