Fayette County Post 105 presented its 2016 American Legion Awards to two cadets of the Fayette County High School Army JROTC “Tiger Battalion.”
This year, the Scholastic Excellence Award was presented to Cadet Caitlin Umila. The Military Excellence Award was presented to Cadet Mara Ivey.
Dave Niebes of Post 105 presented the awards at the unit’s recent awards ceremony.
Post 105 meets the second Monday of each month at the historic Log Cabin in Fayetteville.
