Notable students and grads

Local Brenau University students were awarded for academic excellence and achievement during Honors Convocation April 21.

Caylene Ingram of Brooks was the recipient of the President’s Purchase Award/Undergrad Best of Show. Ingram is a 2016 student majoring in fashion design and studio art.

Emma Jaczko of Peachtree City was the recipient of the Honors Seminar Award. She is a graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2019 student majoring in biology.

Joseph Benson of Fayetteville has been chosen by Citadel faculty members for the 2016 list of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Benson and Peyton Cavanaugh, also of Fayetteville, are among 104 men and women from The Citadel commissioned May 6 into the Army.
