Dr. and Mrs. Eddie Needham, formerly of Tyrone, announce the engagement of their daughter, Joy Ann Needham to Austin Robert Sharp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sharp of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Sandy Creek High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Georgia Southern University. She is currently completing her master’s degree in secondary science education and teaching biology at Statesboro High School.
The groom elect is a 2010 graduate of McIntosh High School and has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Georgia Southern University where the couple met. He is currently working for Camden Properties in Peachtree City.
The wedding is planned for June 11, 2016, at the First Christian Church of Tyrone.
