Fayetteville First United Methodist Church invites all seniors  to enjoy  good food and good fellowship at the monthly lunch meetings of Titus II. Invite a friend for lunch and make a reservation by calling Martha Turner at 770-461-2802 by noon on Thursday before the meeting. Lunch is $6.

On March 1, Chris Snell, director of the Fayette County Library,  will bring news from this local gem of a resource. Menu: Turkey pot pie, deviled eggs, congealed salad, dessert.

Another senior group, S.A.G.E. (Senior Adults Going Everywhere), will visit Chamberlain Chocolates in Norcross on Friday, Feb. 19.

This family owned and operated chocolate shop takes pride in making the finest chocolate with the freshest ingredients in small batches.

On the visit, each person attending will paint and fill a chocolate mold, dip and decorate Oreos or pretzels, and create a chocolate pizza. To counteract the sugar, the group will have barbeque for lunch at JR’s Loghouse.

Cost: $12, plus lunch. The group will leave the church at 9:15 a.m. and will return at  3 p.m. For more information, call the church office, 770-461-4313.
