Mary Frances Bowley and the entire Wellspring Living organization invite the community to its Southside Launch Party of their fast–selling book, “Make It ZERO — A Movement to Safeguard Every Child,” scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 31, 6-8 p.m. at the Bridge Community Center, 225 Willowbend Road in Peachtree City.

“Make It ZERO” has already set sales record since its release, being named #1 new release on Amazon in the social services sector. It has already sold out twice on Amazon and reached record sales through Barnes and Noble bookstores.

“The message of ‘Make It ZERO’ is simply one that opens the door of possibility that every child can become what they were created to be if we (everyone) would do something,” according to a press release about the book launch.

“We are excited to see how people are resonating with this book,” said author Mary Frances Bowley.  “We believe it is a timely message that Americans everywhere will want to read and get involved so that every child is safeguarded.”

Wellspring Living has its roots in Fayette County, with its first women’s facility being established here.  Wellspring Living began with a grassroots effort to help young women (and now girls) to gain the courage to overcome obstacles of exploitation and trafficking and move forward with confidence toward a life filled with success as a contributing member of our communities.  Just a few short years after its inception, the Wellspring Treasures, located on Highway 54, between the Publix and Italian Oven, opened and has been a vital link to the community and to supporting the mission of Wellspring Living.

“Through our work with women and later young girls who have experienced exploitation, it became apparent that if we are going to end trafficking, we must look at the overlapping risk factors.  This book addresses Poverty, Hunger, Isolation, Abuse, and Trafficking by telling inspirational, hope-filled stories and follows each section with TAKE ACTION steps that are tangible and actionable no matter who you are or where you live.,” Bowley commented.

At the Launch Party, guests will have the opportunity to meet several of the contributors in the book, many who are residents of Fayette County. Community Influencers (local pastors and community leaders) will be invited to be the first signers of a big “Make It ZERO” banner making a commitment to do whatever it takes to Safeguard Every Child.  Then all the guests will be invited to join the movement by signing the banner and purchasing books that will be available at the event.
