A Dec. 16 traffic accident on Ga. Highway 54 east of Fayetteville claimed the life of a 31-year-old McDonough man.
Nicholas Hall was transported to Grady Hospital in Atlanta but died later as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash, according to Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb.
The investigation showed that Hall was negotiating a curve on Hwy. 54 near McDonough Road during inclement weather when his 1996 Ford Ranger struck a concrete curb and crosswalk signal, Babb said.
Babb said the pick-up truck left the roadway and overturned, coming to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
