Inman United Methodist Church, 151 Hills Bridge Road in Fayetteville, will be hosting its second annual Christmas Vacation Bible School for children in pre-K through fifth grade. The three-night event is Dec. 20-22 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Children will be learning about the first Christmas as described in The Bible, singing traditional Christmas carols, making Christmas crafts, and participating in a Christmas pageant.
Each night begins with supper at 5:30, followed by crafts, storytime, music, and recreation. The last night (Tuesday) at 7:30, the VBS concludes with a very special Christmas program presented by the children.
This year participants will be singing carols and presenting a Christmas pageant along with some scenes from “Mary’s Treasure Box,” a children’s book by C.E. Walz, Inman’s pianist. After the program, all are invited to a Birthday Party for Baby Jesus in the fellowship hall. In addition, Ms. Walz will be autographing copies of her book, so be sure to invite your friends and neighbors and join in the fun and fellowship at Inman UMC.
