Students at Robert J. Burch Elementary were given an opportunity to find out how to tackle clues and solve a mystery when reading fictional stories.
FBI Special Agent Eddie Davis spoke with third-grade students about finding clues (evidence) in real world mysteries (cases) to be able to close the case.
The third-graders are preparing for their upcoming study of fictional mysteries in reading.
Fingerprints, DNA collection, ultraviolet detection and more crime-solving and evidence-gathering techniques were shared with the students.
These young detectives are now ready to tackle all the clues in their books.
