R.O. Maxwell, 47-year Fayette County resident, recently celebrated his 90th birthday.
He is known to many residents of the county as the proud owner and operator of Maxwell Sawmill, where countless Fayette Countians have come for the past 33 years (and continue to come today) for rough cut lumber and sawdust.
He is a Navy Airforce veteran of World War II, a devoted husband of 67 years (and counting) to his beautiful wife Rubye, and an active, involved, and much loved grandfather and great-grandfather.
