Fellowship of Love Church (FOLC) in Fayetteville recently donated an empowerment package in the amount of $6,000 to AVPRIDE, a youth leadership development nonprofit organization that offers a free after-school enrichment program at the old Fayette Middle school. The organization provides this service for students that are primarily in need. AVPRIDE transports students from three different elementary schools to the after-school program. The money will help to pay for the cost of fuel for operating the bus. By providing transportation, AVPRIDE is able to remove a barrier for students to receive academic supportive services and enrichment programming.
