Addie Elizabeth “Betty” Wilkinson, 91, of Fayetteville, passed away October 1, 2015.
Betty was born in Woolsey and raised in Fayetteville. She was a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, then later the First Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Edward Wilkinson.
Betty is survived by her daughter Marybeth Wilkinson Jones, sons Mac Wilkinson and Brad Wilkinson, grandchildren Jake (Kimberly) Jones, David (Rebecca) Jones, Bobby Wilkinson, and Mackenzie (Brian) Inch, great-grandchildren Brayden Jones, Lilly Jones, Michaela Jones, Easton Inch, sister Mary Frances Smith, niece Becky Hughes, and nephew Ed Wilkinson III.
A funeral service will take place Thursday, October 8, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church Chapel, with Rev. Cobby Ware and Rev. Carolyn Clifton. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 7, 2015, from 5 -7 p.m., Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
