Leadership Fayette is now accepting applications for its 2016 class. Produced by the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, the program provides existing and emerging leaders with opportunities to enhance their civic knowledge of Fayette County, hone their leadership skills and network with leaders across the community.
Open to anyone in Fayette County, Leadership Fayette consists of eight full-day sessions held between January and August, 2016 and culminates with a class project correlating to themes explored during class sessions.
The application process is governed by a Leadership Fayette advisory committee. The committee will review all applications received and determine final applicants to be invited for final interviews. Members of the 2016 class will be announced Nov. 25.

For more than 30 years, the program has provided participants a better understanding of how the Fayette community works and inspired citizens to utilize their talents to serve the community. During Leadership Fayette, participants will learn about the interdependencies between sectors of the local economy, as well as the interrelationships of a variety of local issues.
